The Essence of Africa The Essence of Africa produces food and cosmetic products made 100% from plants of the African nature. Their product range includes teas, body oils, and plant powders from Moringa, Baobab, Hibiscus, and Ginger. The brand places great importance on sustainability and social responsibility by supporting local farmers and manufacturers and promoting fair trade practices. INVICTUS supported The Essence of Africa The Essence of Africa in improving visibility and increasing sales through website redesign, SEO optimization, content creation, and comprehensive social media marketing.

Our Task

The central task was to increase the visibility and sales of The Essence of Africa by:

The Challenges

The company faced business challenges that drove their motivation to seek improvement solutions. A major issue was their lack of visibility in the market, resulting in limited attention and hindering their ability to attract new customers. Additionally, they struggled with low website traffic, which further restricted their online presence and opportunities for customer acquisition. Moreover, there was a revenue gap that needed to be addressed. These challenges were pivotal in their decision to collaborate with INVICTUS.

Implementation

To increase the visibility of The Essence of Africa and successfully market the brand, INVICTUS implemented various measures.

These included the redesign and programming of the website, optimization of the corporate identity, content creation for sales documents, product descriptions, and recipes, as well as the creation of a recipe book. Improving visibility in search engines through technical SEO and keyword optimization was a key focus.

Additionally, Google Ads were used to drive targeted traffic, while social media marketing on platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram involved organic posts and social ads on Meta platforms. Email marketing and customer retention through newsletters were also key aspects.

Direct customer engagement was achieved through the distribution of sample packs. INVICTUS also designed marketing materials for campaigns in collaboration with external service providers.

Finally, INVICTUS helped establish the brand on other platforms to expand distribution channels. This also included support in the development of food and cosmetic products that are set to be launched in 2024, including design, packaging, and content creation.
